I don’t blog/tumblr much so when I do, you know it’s something I love or really into. So as I’m watching the Colts/Giants game tonight, I’m seeing all these promos for upcoming tv shows and I’m getting so excited to keep up with all these new shows!
How I Met Your Mother! This show is the new age of Friends, pretty much. If you love Friends, you probably would love this show. Not much to say but Neil Patrick Harris is pretty damn awesome here. MONDAYS at 8pm on CBS.
Hawaii 5-0! So I’m actually looking forward to this one, not only does the show have Grace Park, BUT ALSO Daniel Dae Kim and Scott Caan! I want to see how this remake turns out. MONDAYS at 10pm on CBS.
CHUCK! i’ve kept up with this show since it began and its been getting better and better! Doesnt hurt to have Yvonne Strahovski in a bikini once in a while. ;) MONDAYS at 8pm on NBC
The Event. This show has potential to actually be pretty good. Not much has been given away in the trailers and promos so we’ll just have to watch the pilot to find out. One plus is Ian Anthony Dale who is always pretty cool. MONDAYS at 9pm on NBC
No Ordinary Family. So this show will probably not last more than 2 seasons or so. It’s about a family who goes on vacation whose plane crashes into water with magical powers. They come back home with EXTRAordinary powers! I might watch the first few episodes to see how I like it but we’ll have to see. I’ve just always wanted to have super powers. =[ TUESDAYS at 8pm on ABC.
Glee?! SO I watched Glee. Yea yea whatever. I don’t care what people say. It had some pretty good covers, but also some pretty bad ones. The drama got pretty damn ridiculous but it recovered a little by the finale. I really want to see Charice though, for someone out of the Philippines who barely spoke any English to becoming a recurring guest star on one of the most popular TV shows today? Thats pretty damn awesome. TUESDAYS at 8pm on FOX.
Modern Family. I actually did not watch the show when it was actually on tv. I watched most of the episodes online after the show wrapped its first season. AND it was pretty funny. Ed O’Neill, who used to play Al Bundy in Married…With Children, is surprisingly hilarious. Can’t wait for season 2! WEDNESDAYS at 9pm on ABC.
The Defenders! A new show about two lawyers in Las Vegas. With main cast members Jim Belushi and Jerry O’Connell, I think this show is going to be pretty good. Both are funny and still can act so it’ll be fun to watch their chemistry on this show. WEDNESDAYS at 10pm on CBS.
Lie To Me! I’ve been watching this show since it premiered as a mid-season replacement last year. I love the premise and plot of this whole show since I’m really interested in everything the show presents. With things like applied psychology and reading microexpressions and body language, the show is unique and original and Tim Roth can act SO good. This show got me interested in psychology in college and still am today. WEDNESDAYS at 8pm on FOX.
My Generation. This show is a mockumentary that follows a group of teenages who was documented just before graduating high school and now follows up on these people ten years after graduation. This show appeals to me because I actual think about this today. After graduating high school, I wondered who I would keep in touch with and how our lives are going to be in 2018. I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out. THURSDAYS at 8pm on ABC.
The Big Bang Theory! Now this show is actually pretty funny. Sometimes people think the dorkiness and geekiness of the show is kinda of weird but I like it. They know they appeal to a certain audience and keep it that way and not letting the show try to appeal to everybody. Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper) is a great actor! THURSDAYS at 8pm on CBS.
Nikita! Maggie Q. Maggie Q. Maggie Q. Maggie Q. Maggie Q. Maggie Q. Maggie Q. Maggie Q. Maggie Q. Maggie Q. Maggie Q. THURSDAYS at 9pm on the CW.
Community! This show is one of the funniest shows I’ve seen in a long time. Joel McHale has his moments but Donald Glover and Danny Pudi have one of the best on-screen chemistries ever. Their jokes and little skits at the end of most episodes make me laugh SO HARD. Hope this show keeps on going for a long time. THURSDAYS at 8pm on NBC.
The Office. Ahhh…Steve Carell. One of the funniest actors in the business today, but is sadly leaving the show after this season. I don’t know how the series will go on without him but I’m sure he will leave this show with a BANG. Can’t wait for this season too. THURSDAYS at 9pm on NBC.
Smallville! I haven’t watched the last few seasons but I did read most of the premises on Wikipedia so I think I’ll be up to date for Smallville’s tenth and final season. The show began kinda cool but cooled off a little. Then they added Justin Hartley and Laura Vandervoort as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow and Kara (Supergirl), respectively. The show got cool again but cooled off again after Kara left. And now its the final season and they are not going to leave any superhero or supervillian untouched for the last season of the making of Superman. FRIDAYS at 8pm on the CW.
Supernatural! This show has its ups and downs but I think I’ll try to keep up this season. Previous seasons became too complicated and Katie Cassidy (Ruby) was recasted after season 3 and I just lost interest. Hopefully they can get the show back to its original awesomeness. FRIDAYS at 9pm on the CW.
Human Target! I watched ALL the episodes online as I did not catch it when it was on the air but damn this show is pretty damn interesting! Its about a former assassin who defects from his old boss to now help people as an unique bodyguard and security expert. Mark Valley is pretty badass and Jackie Earle Haley is always a great actor. FRIDAYS at 8pm on FOX.
V! The alien lizards who are disguised as humans! Well I like it! It’s pretty interesting and a different perspective of invading aliens whereas they integrate into our societies before taking over the world instead of all out invasions. Morena Baccarin flawlessly plays the evil Anna while Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet from Lost) and Morris Chestnut are the good guys. Also Laura Vandervoort from Smallville plays the alien Lisa whose wavering allegiance to her lizards may help us humans out. Looking forward to season 2 ever since the first season’s finale. COMING BACK in NOV 2010.
Maybe I’ll just blog about tv shows from now on. I like writing about them. And maybe I’ll throw in a movie review or preview in here once in a while. I dont know. But this blogging is pretty new. LATER.
